Page Rank

HOME||CONTENTS

Most bloggers monetize their blogs by writing paid reviews and by posting ads. Monetized blogs are good source of extra income but in order to get more offers from paid review sites, your blog site needs to have good Google PR. Good PR means that your site has greater chance to be found when using certain search keywords. Hence, advertisers prefer to offer paid reviews to blog sites that have higher page ranks.

In terms of search engine optimization (SEO), sites with higher page rank are easier to find. To check the page rank of your site, you may visit this link: Page Rank Checker. The ranking system is from 0 to 10. Ten is the highest possible rank. "N/A" may also appear for your blog. This simply means that your site has not yet been indexed by Google. Hence, PR is not yet available.

Higher PR also means that you have high traffic for your site. One way of increasing your PR is to exchange links with other blog sites. Another way is to submit your blog link to directories. To learn more on how to increase your site's PR, read this post: Directing Web Traffic to Your Blog.
